The work, which is being funded by the Council's Development Services, will see a number of environmental
improvements made including the resurfacing of the cycleway and coastal path, new seating and planting. The improvements were
designed by Development Services' Physical Regeneration, Environment and Projects team and take on board the comments they
received from the local community. This project is in partnership with Tayport Harbour Trust and supported by the local Councillors,
community council, and other Council Services - Local, Transportation and Community Services.
The team is also working on phases two and three of the Harbour Project to improve the harbour entrance,
parking and recycling areas. It is hoped that phase one, which has just started, will be complete by the start of June. The
work is being carried out by Fife landscaping and ground maintenance contractors Gilmartin's.
